The 5 Best Couples Spas in Edinburgh for Expert Care and Shared Serenity
My partner and I once booked a romantic massage that turned out to be two tables separated by a squeaky folding screen in a basement near a bus stop. You could hear the number 26 idling outside every 4 minutes, which killed the mood faster than cold oil.
The best couple spas in Edinburgh take more than picking the prettiest website, especially if you want proper shared rooms and pricing that matches what you get.
So our team compared local treatment menus, verified package inclusions, and checked exact rates across the city.
Here are the places worth booking for your next day out together, along with who each spot fits best.

1. W Spa Massage and Therapy

Website: https://www.w-spa.co.uk/
Address: 133-135 Morrison Street
Contact: 07561 698988
Hours: Monday-Sunday, 10:00 AM-10:00 PM
Most couples have different ideas of what counts as relaxing, which is where W Spa Massage and Therapy stands out. They pair side-by-side rooms with nine massage styles, including traditional Hawaiian Lomi Lomi and four-hands massage.
Their variety means one of you can ask for deep tissue work while the other picks hot stones or aromatherapy without splitting up.
Another thing we love here is their pricing runs on clear time blocks, starting at £70 for 30 minutes and £120 for 60 minutes per couple.
Booking a session with them is a good date idea after a late dinner. They stay open until 10:00 PM every night.
The catch is that their menu focuses heavily on bodywork rather than pools or facials. Plus, they don’t open until 10:00 AM.

Such a great treat as both my husband and I were super fatigued from traveling
Cola performed my massage and she was so pleasant and mindful…she kept checking in to make sure I was comfortable and that the pressure was ok for me. The massage parlor was clean and professional, I’d highly recommend. It was such a great treat as both my husband and I were super fatigued from traveling.

2. Sleeping Beauty Spa

Address: Radisson Blu Hotel, 80 High Street
Contact: 0131 202 6583
Hours:

- Thursday: 10:00 AM-8:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:30 AM-5:30 PM
- Sunday: 11:00 AM-5:00 PM
Tourists who want more than an hour on a massage table can head to Sleeping Beauty Spa inside the Radisson Blu Hotel for a full hotel spa day.
Every spa package here includes full use of the hotel spa facilities alongside a spa pack with a robe, slippers, and Elemis toiletries.
When we spoke to their staff about booking an engagement celebration, they explained how couples can mix indulgent facials, reflexology, aromatherapy, or pressure point massages within their visit.
Moreover, couples can also enjoy access to the spa facilities beyond their scheduled treatments. This gives them more time to relax together without having to leave immediately after their massages.
That said, the venue is closed on Mondays, so long-weekend visitors need to plan their itinerary around that gap. And you have to pay parking charges if you use the underground car park.

Address: 244 Morrison Street
Contact: 0131 629 586
Hours: Monday-Saturday, 10:00 AM-7:00 PM, Sunday, 11:00 AM-5:00 PM
Stiff shoulders from hauling luggage up Edinburgh hills call for proper stretching, and Mind and Body Thai Massage and Spa brings eight years of local Thai wellness.
Instead of a sterile clinic feel, you and your partner get an intimate space designed to help you slow down together.
It feels good that you don’t have to agree on the same routine once you’re inside. One partner can book different massages, like Traditional Thai or Deep Tissue while the other chooses a Thai Combination Easing or foot massage.
Their clients love that the therapists adjust every session to individual preferences.
In fact, some friends even combine a visit here with sessions from their Reiki practitioners when planning a full wellness weekend.
Keep in mind that their couples treatments don’t include facials, and Sunday hours wrap up early at 5:00 PM.

Had a wonderful experience with the Thai couple massage! The therapists were skilled, attentive, and created such a calming atmosphere. We both felt incredibly relaxed by the end, and the entire session was truly worth every penny. Great value for money and definitely something we’d come back for. Highly recommend!

They take any awkward energy out the room as they chatted here and there
Lovely and very friendly and welcoming ladies doing a couples massage for me and my boyfriend! They really worked out all of his back strains, and for me it made me feel light and blissful at the end of it. They take any awkward energy out the room as they chatted here and there, also making sure what strength level we’d like so as not to get hurt as well as regularly checking in.

4. Massage Edinburgh Holistic & Sports Massage Holisportsmas

Website: https://www.holisportsmas.com/
Address: 101 George Street, Level 6
Contact: +44 7915 250402

Massage Edinburgh Holistic & Sports Massage Holisportsmas combines couples sessions with sports massage, deep tissue therapy, and physiotherapy. That clinical backbone makes them a smart pick for running injury or just to unwind.

Gift buyers also get a practical perk here because their massage gift cards work directly towards couples treatments.
We love the fact that they open as early as 8 AM!
The catch is that they don’t accept walk-ins, and same-day slots depend entirely on therapist availability.

Sharing a massage feels much more restorative when the techniques actually work out your knots, and Castle Thai Spa focuses on traditional Thai treatments. They suit romantic partners or close friends who want a quiet place to reconnect.
Guests can choose between a soothing Thai Oil Massage, an energising Thai Yoga Massage, or a Modern Thai Neck and Shoulder Treatment depending on whether they need pain relief or better flexibility.
A friend booked their shared room with her fiancé before their wedding, and she loved how the therapist adjusted the stretching pressure so neither of them felt rushed.
That said, there’s no free parking nearby.

From the minute we entered the establishment we were treated so well
My husband booked a couples massage for my birthday and wow, the ladies were amazing. I am pregnant and my masseuse took so much care to make sure I was comfortable. She was able to get rid of tension I’ve had in my shoulder / neck for a very long time. I was so relaxed that I went home and had the best sleep I’ve had in a long time. From the minute we entered the establishment we were treated so well and with the utmost professionalism and kindness.

We will be back for sure
My husband and I went to Castle Thai Spa for a couple massage and it was a very good experience.
The atmosphere was relaxing and the massage tables were comfortable.
Our masseuses asked us individually what we wanted them to focus on and explained us what type of pressure they were going to use.
I had a lot of shoulder/neck issue and she really helped. I was a bit sore the next couple of days but as expected.
Really good deep tissue massage. We will be back for sure!
