Napier Bathrooms & Interiors was where I got my brand-new toilet, mainly because they’re an official distributor of TOTO washlets. These are the high-tech Japanese toilets with built-in bidets and automatic cleaning features, and I’d been curious about them for a while.
One thing that really helped was their 4D Theatre design service. The virtual reality setup let me see exactly how the toilet would look in my space and gave me a better sense of what changes could improve the overall layout.
They handled the full renovation, too, which made things easier. I also appreciated the snagging period where someone came back to check for small fixes, and the 12-month workmanship guarantee gave me peace of mind.
That said, their quote was noticeably higher than others I received. I also had trouble reaching them for follow-up questions and had to call several times before getting a proper response.

Wickes also offers a two-year workmanship guarantee, which is always nice. And if you’re watching your budget, they provide interest-free credit to help make things more manageable.
Unfortunately, their Edinburgh branch doesn’t always have everything in stock. It’s also disappointing to hear that some customers have encountered rude behaviour from their staff.

Another toilet shop I’d recommend if you’re working with a tight budget is The Bathroom Showroom. They’re part of City Plumbing, which means they carry reliable brands like Roca, Vitra, and Geberit.
Like the others I mentioned earlier, they offer a free 3D design service that helps you visualise how your new toilet will fit into your bathroom before making any decisions.
But what stands out is their five-year guarantee on all bathroom furniture, including toilets. They also offer flexible finance options, giving you the choice between shorter interest-free plans or longer ones with a modest interest rate.
The only major downside is that they don’t handle installation, so you’ll need to arrange your own fitter once your toilet is delivered.

It’s also nice that they offer free 3D design services. They even offer aftercare support, so if anything goes wrong, they’ll help coordinate with the manufacturer.
That said, I’m disappointed to learn that they sometimes fail to respond to enquiries. Also, their delivery service needs some improvements, as some customers have received incorrect or incomplete orders.

We buy our suites from Buyrite, then hire a local company/tradesman through MyBuilder.com to rip the old suite out and install the new suite, and it always works out a lot cheaper than getting one company to supply and install.
